A recent court order for a Marblehead MA home to be torn down is a lesson to always make sure you are within guidelines when building a new home. This particular owner subdivided a lot and seemingly got permission from the local zoning board to build. The story from there is a bit fuzzy as to who made a mistake. Either the zoning board was incorrect in approving the plan or the owner went outside the parameters of the plan. Regardless after 15 years of legal expenses by his disgruntled neighbors the home estimated to have cost $800,000 was torn down this morning.
